How to become an interior

Now I have worked as a designer for two years with an architect friend. When you work together, ideas go through an even more careful selection, everything unnecessary is cut off. I mainly deal with the selection of furniture, materials, interior design, negotiations with customers, communication with sales managers for the purchase of equipment for the object, filling of content and portfolio in social networks and thematic sites. The stages in the work on the project are standard. Then I usually contact the sales managers to remind them of the promised preliminary invoices or to discuss any issues that have arisen. Sometimes it only turns out to be involved in current projects in the late afternoon. It happens that I spend all day with the customer on the road to choose materials and furniture. Seasonal workload: summer is the hottest time.

The competition is very strong in Moscow. There are probably several thousand interior designers. For example, there are two more designers in the capital with the same last name and first name as mine. But many people occupy their niche, a certain target group. For example, our customers are mostly young couples aged 30-35, the budget for repairs is small, but they are open to everything new and modern. Since the design and renovation of an apartment is a responsible and quite personal matter, they often refer to recommendations from relatives or friends. In addition to this and paid advertising, there are various ways to attract customers. The income is very different because the payment is piecework. I know this for sure because I use it for the convenience of calculating income and expenses special applications... The total amount does not only consist of the payment for the design project. There are also such income items as architectural supervision, percentages from sales of copyrighted 3D models, writing articles, and affiliate programs from suppliers. Sometimes designers offer furniture, for example, by agreement with the supplier. Normal designers usually make sure that these prices are profitable for the customer and do not cheat at the top.
