No more standing in traffic jams in the morning and decide for yourself when you 'work'.

On this page, I will tell you how I earn money from money, and how you can do this too. You will find out that making money at home is easier than you think.

Making money at home: what do you need?

The great thing about making money at home is that you basically don't need anything at all except an internet connection and a laptop or computer.

If you have that, you can already get started with my method to earn about 250 euros per day.

You don't need a car, no starters budget, or other craziness: as long as you have an internet connection and a laptop/computer, you can get started.

Do you have this? Then you can read on.

Why would you want this?

For many people, working from home is the ideal solution. This is for the following reasons.

• You simply work from home!
• You don't have to take others into account
• You can work at any time convenient for you.
• You don't have to stand in traffic
• You don't have to deal with annoying colleagues

Of course, everyone has their own reasons.

My main reason for working from home was that I could schedule my own times, and not have to work at fixed times.

Before you start: a basic explanation

Ok, so you want to start earning money at home and you are ready. Before we start, it is of course useful to know what we are going to do.

I make my money on the internet with affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is promoting other people's products. So you do NOT need your own products for this. So you don't have to have products in stock or post them. You don't have to deal with customer service.

You are simply promoting other products. Think for example of iPhones, courses, insurance, or whatever. It is not MLM (Multi-Level Marketing) and you do NOT need to bring in other members.

Let me tell you how it works.

How does affiliate marketing work?

Affiliate marketing is promoting other people's products. This works (for example) as follows.

Suppose you have a website about the iPhone. On this website, you can compare iPhone prices. You don't have to do this yourself, because there are handy tools that do this automatically and keep track of the prices.

Someone searches Google for 'buy a cheap iPhone' and then ends up on your website.

Once on your website, the visitor clicks on your unique affiliate link and goes to www.kpn.nl.

If this person purchases a device or subscription from KPN.nl within 100 days, you will receive a commission.

The buyer does not see this and does not even know that an affiliate (you) has been among them.

You can do this completely anonymously. In addition, there is no limit and this continues 24/7. So you can literally make money while you sleep; This is because visitors come to your website day and night and you don't have to do anything for a sale.

Start affiliate marketing from home

You now know the basics and know how affiliate marketing works. You also know that you can do this 100% from home as all you need is a computer and an internet connection. No more!

Of course, you can also choose to rent an office and work from there, but since you've landed on this page, I assume you don't want this. In any case, the possibilities are endless.

To get started, we will first sign up with an affiliate network. On an affiliate network, you will find products that you can promote. You also get paid for this.

Dutch affiliate networks are for example PayPro and Daisycon. Here you can register yourself for free. Do this and then come back to this article. If you are new to affiliate marketing, I recommend that you only register with PayPro first; that works a bit easier and I will also discuss that on this page.

When you are registered with PayPro you go to the Affiliate Campaigns (Campaign Overview). Here you will find the products you can promote.

The best-selling products have the highest score, and so the 'hit list' goes down. I recommend choosing a product that is on the first five pages and then preferably a product that you are somewhat interested in.

Your unique affiliate link (important)

When you've found a product you want to promote, it's time to grab your unique affiliate link. This is very important and crucial if you want to make money.

Your affiliate link measures when someone has bought through your website or campaign. People MUST click on your affiliate link if they want to make money.

When a sale has taken place, the affiliate network (in this case PayPro) knows that the sale has taken place through you based on your affiliate link.

You can obtain your affiliate link by logging into PayPro, going to the Campaign Overview, and then clicking on the product you want to promote. You will see the 'your affiliate link' window there. You must have this and place it on your website if you are going to promote the product.

Optionally, you could save the affiliate link in a Word document on your computer so that you always have it at hand.

Market research: what is being searched for and what is popular?

Now that you know what product you'll be promoting and where to find your affiliate link, it's time to do some market research. We need this to register a domain name and build a website.

For this, we use the Google Keyword Planner.

Go to the Google Keyword Planner and enter terms that are related to your product. For example, if you are promoting the product 'Freds Construction Drawings', enter terms such as 'buy construction drawings' and 'garden shed construction drawings' in the Keyword Planner.

It doesn't hurt to use a little common sense to come up with ideas ;-).

Google will then come up with all relevant terms and you will see exactly how many times a term is searched for.

If a search term has about 500 searches per month, you can use the term to register a domain name (I'll get to that in a moment).

It is important that the term really has to do with your product, and that it attracts buyers.

For example, if you're promoting Fred's Building Plans, you want people looking for plans, not people looking to buy cheap wood (just to name a few). The search term 'buy building plans' would therefore be a good one, but 'buy wood' would not be – unless you promote a webshop that sells wood.

Do you understand what I mean? Relevance!

Buying a domain name: now it is REALLY happening!

When you get to this point, you should have a search term you want to use. We will register a domain name for this search term.

For example, if you use the search term 'buy construction drawings', we will go to versio.nl and see if that domain name is available.

If your search term is available, you can register it. Please note that it really has to be a .nl or .com domain name. Other extensions are not relevant and will not rank high in Google quickly. So search for a search term for which the .nl or .com is free and which is searched for at least 500 times a month.

Did you find it? Then you register this domain name with hosting. Now you have lost a total of about fifteen euros per year, so that is almost nothing. This is therefore the only 'investment' you need to make.

If you start a physical store, you will lose a lot more money ;-).

Making your website is done in no time

You have now registered a domain name and web hosting. It normally takes 1-2 hours for these to work, but when you're ready, you're good to go.

Now we can get started to make your website real so that you can actually start earning money at home.

We start by installing WordPress; With this, you can easily and for free create a website. Your hosting offers the possibility to install WordPress via CPanel or DirectAdmin. Ask your hosting how you can do this if you can't figure it out. This differs per hosting.

When you have installed WordPress, we will first change the theme. With every WordPress installation, you get the default WordPress theme, but we will change this to 'Sparkling'.

So go to your WordPress admin panel and change the theme to Sparkling.

Then we install the Yoast SEO Plugin and change the permalink structure. You do this by going to the Settings, and then clicking on Permalinks. Here you choose 'Message name'.

Now you create two pages, namely 'Home' and 'Blog'.

Go to Settings and click on 'Read'. Here you set your Home page as 'home page' and your Blog page as a Posts page.

Success? Nice! Then the 'difficult part' is already over ;-).

Writing texts – optimizing your homepage

My method is based on getting free visitors through Google. It is therefore the intention that your website will rank high in Google and that you will therefore receive free (targeted) visitors to your website every day.

For this, we have to optimize your website for Google.

This starts with placing texts on your website. Remember, the goal is ALWAYS to write for people. When your visitors find your website and texts good and valuable, Google thinks so too.

Always put yourself in the shoes of a website visitor. For example, people come to your website by searching for the term 'buy construction drawings'. Can the visitor find what he/she has searched for on your website?

We start by writing your Home page. This should be optimized for your domain name.

Some tips:

• Use your focus search term (in this case your domain name) in the first paragraph.
• Make your text at least 500 words
• Use headers (spaces)
• Put an image in the top left of the text and optimize your image for Google
• Write good, correct Dutch texts
• Post regular enters. Just like in this article (which you are reading now) you will see that after about 2-3 lines or even 1 line I already place a blank line. This provides peace of mind.

At the end of your text, you work towards the product you are promoting. You use about 100 words for this. Of course, you also place your affiliate link here, so that people go to the product you are promoting.

Keep adding new content continuously

When your homepage is up, you've come a long way. You can get visitors to your website that way, and people can actually click on your affiliate link and buy the product you're promoting.

But you are not there yet ;-).

You are supposed to add at least one new post every week by blogging. Your posts will appear on the Blog page and ensure that your website remains 'fresh' and will be found on more and more search terms.

This is good for your position at Google.

Google likes a website that is constantly updated with new content. Your website will become stronger and bigger every time.

You can search for relevant keywords using Google's Keyword Planner. You simply enter your first keyword (your domain name) and see where a lot is searched, and which terms are relevant.

Here you write texts with the same structure as your homepage. At the end of the text, you refer to the product you are promoting.

Remember that you ALWAYS have to add value and that your texts are of good quality.

You would do well not to promote anything at all in a single article; to keep the trust of Google.

You will see that after 1-2 months you will get more and more visitors and that you will also start getting sales.

Expand your internet empire

When you have completed the above steps you know how you can earn money from home. You have now built one website that can continuously earn you money, every month.

The more websites you build, the more money you will make on the internet.

So you can expand your internet 'empire' by repeating the above steps, and starting a new website based on the above step-by-step plan.

With one website it is easy to earn 100-150 euros per month, so if you have ten you already have a thousand euros per month from home.

That's a nice bonus and easily earned :-).

Always think long term

You are not going to make thousands of euros from home overnight. You need (a lot of) patience for that.

It is therefore important that you understand the power of long-term thinking.

Don't think what something can bring you in a few days, but think longer. Realize that if you get started with this, you will have built up a stable X/K per month business in a few years. This takes time but is very much needed.

The great thing about this is that you can also build this at your own pace (and from home), and work on it whenever you want.

You have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

Making money with packing, or something else, will undoubtedly earn more in the beginning, but you don't build anything with it, and it can't be scaled up.

It is therefore much more interesting to get started with affiliate marketing. Besides the fact that you can also do this from home, it gives you much more freedom than other revenue models. In addition, you really build up an income and your income grows every month. This gives you a growing, passive income every month – and that from home.
